The software company Andreessen co-founded last year, Netscape Communications, is already a brand-name marvel its pulsating teal trademark–an “N” looming against the planet–is ubiquitous, appearing whenever Netscape software is used to cruise the Web....

The collection of Mailer’s works, including some writing that has never been published, according to The New York Times, is reportedly set to be released by the late author’s 100th birthday in 2023. Andrew Wylie, a literary agent from the agency that represents the Mailer estate told The Associated Press that Skyhorse Publishing will release the book, but previous reports of Random House dropping the collection over objections from within the company to some of Mailer’s writings on racial issues were not accurate....

However, the statement comes months after the International Olympic Committee (IOC) suspended North Korea from the 2022 Games after the country refused to send a team to the 2021 Summer Games in Tokyo. Rob Soofer, the deputy assistant secretary of defense for nuclear and missile defense policy, said during a Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies webinar Wednesday that Pyongyang is still trying to expand its ICBM reach, possibly including submarine-launched weapons. “We don’t know what the risk is because we know that North Korea is trying to increase the size of its ICBM capabilities, maybe even move to a submarine-launched ballistic missile, but we don’t know the extent of that,” Soofer explained....

Wide receiver Darvin Kidsy was arrested after he surrendered himself to Denton police. No charges have been filed yet. The hit-and-run occurred on Dec. 5, when witnesses said they saw a truck cross three lanes, go up on the curb of the sidewalk and hit two pedestrians. One witness even said he thought the hit was intentional. One pedestrian suffered broken teeth and bones. The other wasn’t seriously injured....
