Tributes for the stalwart of acting have been pouring in from leading industry figures as Lloyd’s glittering career is remembered by those who loved his work and those who worked with him. The actor whose legendary career was punctuated with collaborations with the likes of Orson Welles, Alfred Hitchcock, Charlie Chaplin, Bertolt Brecht and Jean Renoir, passed away on Tuesday at his home in Los Angeles, his son Michael confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter....

Donald Tedder, president of Tedder Outdoor Media which owns the billboard, confirmed to the local outlet that the adverts depicting Biden were purchased by an individual, but said that he could not give any identifying details due to privacy concerns....

David Steven Bell, 51, of Black Mountain appeared in court on Monday over the incident outside a mall in Asheville back in January. A shocking video of what happened went viral across social media at the time. Many criticized Bell’s actions as unjustifiable and racist, though some internet commentators argued he was defending himself against a threat. The “mall punch” footage shows a group of girls surrounding and taunting Bell, who is 6'5 tall and weighs 250 pounds....

The Bismarck Tribune reports Azizov had stalked the woman for three weeks because he “needed to slay her.” Azizov allegedly believed that the woman was “the cause of all the stress and negativity in his life” because she had cursed him. Court documents at the pretrial in 2018 alleged a pre-existing relationship between Azizov and the woman, but that she had discontinued the relationship after Azizov told her about his “disturbing dreams....

Meanwhile, Beijing was so angered by Kim’s test–which China had publicly warned against–that it sent top national-security official Tang Jiaxuan to Pyongyang. The senior officials say Beijing threatened to cut off fuel and food supplies. How did Kim respond? Japan’s Foreign Minister Taro Aso said: “Though it is not confirmed, we have obtained information that [Kim] told Mr. Tang the country won’t conduct a second nuclear test.” Diplomatic sources (anonymous due to the sensitive subject) say they believe Kim’s pledge covers missile tests, too....
