Northwestern Football Players Show Up To Basketball Game In Full Pads

I’m just kidding, of course. That’s the Northwestern football team hanging out in the student section at Welsh-Ryan Arena.

The team apparently thought it was a good idea to come prepared for Saturday’s game against Penn State wearing helmets, jerseys and pads.

And thus was the birth of the student-athlete section.
