Nobody Saves the World: Long-Distance Medicine Walkthrough

The first step toward completing this quest is to navigate to Octavia’s lab, which is situated in Meadow Trail. Players can reach this location by taking the path that leads north out of the Royal Territories, which is near the center of the map, and heading toward the nearby quest marker. After entering Octavia’s lab, dungeon crawler fans should speak with her assistant, who is wearing a hat and is standing on the right side of the room, to advance to the next part of the quest.

This is where things can start to get a bit tricky in Long-Distance Medicine, as Nobody Saves the World players must now select the dialogue options that are aligned with what the Fish Mage indicated when the quest was issued. For those fans that may be uncertain about exactly how to answer Octavia’s assistant’s questions, here are the precise dialogue options that should be picked:

Fish-curse cure? I can describe his symptoms. Slippery, like a bar of soap. Being caught in a fishing net. Fish meal pellets. The sea, schooling with other fish.

Once the last of these dialogue options has been selected, Octavia’s assistant will make the fish cure, which players must take back to the New League of Wizards. For full clarity, that establishment is located in Damptonia in the southeast corner of Nobody Saves the World’s map, and interacting with the Fish Mage will cause the Long-Distance Medicine quest to be marked as complete. Fans can then redeem the quest and claim their rewards, which are one star and 50 XP.

Players that complete this quest will also be one step closer to earning the status of Platinum Acolyte, a title that is rewarded after assisting three members of the New League of Wizards. Fortunately, the other members’ quests are all fairly straightforward and primarily center around collecting food items from slain baddies. The outlier is a quest that requires a bit of racing, though fans that have unlocked Horse Form in Nobody Saves the World should have no trouble completing it.

Nobody Saves the World is out now for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
